Postdoc Ian Wolff awarded his first NIH grant

Ian's F32 proposal focuses on combining the power of worm and mouse genetics

Huge congratulations to Ian for securing funding in his very first submission!

Postdoctoral fellow and worm afficianado, Ian Wolff, has secured his first NIH funding! Ian's F32 received an outstanding score on its very first submission to study cell cycle regulation at the end of prophase I of meiosis in worm and mouse. His reserach will focus on the role of the Skp1-Cullin-Fbox complex in mediating the events that lead to the onset of the first meiotic division. This grant will allow him to combine worm and mouse studies together to understand the vital events that result in chromosome segregation at the first meiotic division.
