Ian Wolff Joins the Lab

Ian will be working on projects related to Crossover Designation and Cell Cycle Progression

The lab is delighted to welcome this upstate New York native back to the Finger Lakes!

We are pleased to welcome Ian Wolff as the newest postdoctoral fellow in the Cohen Lab. Ian recently completed his PhD in Sadie Wignall's lab at Northwestern, where he investigated the meiotic divisions and spindle assembly in C. elegans oocytes. He brings with him an extensive understanding of biochemistry, genetics and cell biology, all of which he hopes to apply to understanding how crossover regulation and cell cycle progression are co-ordinated in the meiotic prophase I, all while learning how fun it is to work with organisms that have legs (and teeth!). Welcome back to the Empire State, Ian!
