Anna Wood, a first year student in the BMCB Field, has joined the lab! She will work on the CNTD1 project, specifically focusing on crossover designation roles for CNTD1 in female meiosis, but also  elucidating the downstream functions of CNTD1 on class I crossovers in mouse and worm models. Anna already has a ton of meiosis experience after doing her undergraduate research in the lab of Pat Hunt and Terry Hassold at Washingon State University. Welcome, Anna!
