Continuing on from where Meiosis in Quarantine left off ....

A highlight of the 2020 lockdown for many, Meiosis in Quarantine provided a critical weekly forum in  which to hear about the very best emerging research in our field.  At the same time , MiQ was our chance to connect with our community across the globe, and to welcome newcomers to the meiosis field who might not have otherwise ever attended a meiosis conference.  While In-Person conferences can never be replaced,  this MAYosis webinar series is intended to maintain our scientific connections and to provide a new and ongoing forum in which to spotlight the younger members of our community.

Starting on Thursday May 6th , and continuing for a total of five weeks, MAYosis 2021 will feature five speakers each week. One speaker will be an invited established investigator in the field, while the other four speakers that have been selected from abstracts. Only trainees or junior faculty (within 6 years of starting their independent lab) have been considered from abstract submissions, and we have a terrific line up of speakers addressing topics across all areas of meiosis.

Talks will be 15 minutes in length with 10 minutes for questions. There will be a one-hour general open-mic discussion at the end of all four talks. Talks will begin promptly at 10 am EDT .

All attendees must register and registration is free. Please note that abstract submission has now closed and all speakers have been selected. Please see the program for further details.
